In my ponds, I KILL them on drop-shot. given my ponds don't have any huge bass. But still fun! Also, when its cloudy, I throw spinnerbaits.

I just have a few questions that I would like some answer to! 1. Should I use a trailer on these? 2. Braid, mono, of floro? 3. What type of rod would you use when fishing these? I know people who use a lot of give in their rod and people who like a more stiff rod. Just wondering these questions for future use of these baits! Thanks Guys!

I'm going to a lake that has a lot of heavy grass and some monster fish. Are their any ways y'all like to fish it? I think I'm going to try a big worm or creature, but Free weight or pegged? What do you think?

So, needless to say that i'm clueless when it comes to bed fishing. I know that it takes a lot of patients. What are your favorite lures to use when bed fishing? This is an area I really need to improve on. Any help is appreciated! -Josh

Me and my dad were fishing in a club tournament over the weekend at Badin lake. Started off the morning with a little topwater while my dad threw a jerkbait. He started catch what I call "pond fish" little 8" fish. If you know anything about Badin, it's grassy. I remember a fishing show done awhile back when KVD was throwing a swim jig over grass and slaying them, so I had one tied and and I thought i'd give it a spin. 30 minutes later, I land my first keeper, around 3lbs. I knew i was gonna fish with it the rest of the day. after awhile, I had my limit. My dad still hasn't caught a keeper and I felt bad for him because he didn't have a swim jig like mine and I only had 1... Well, at around 11:30, I catch this beaut. saw her hit it and gave me chills. 7.01lbs my second biggest bass i've ever caught. I ended the day with 17lbs such an awesome day!! -Josh

Thanks boys!! Turns out, I won the tournament! As a 15 year old, it's so awesome! My bag weighed 17lbs and I caught a 7.01lber on a jig. Such an awesome day!!

What's up guys! So I was wondering how you guys are catching them this time of year? As a 15 year old, I don't know much about fishing lakes since I don't have my license to go all the time. I'm fishing a tournament with my old man tomorrow and it's individual weights. I would like to show him up! haha

So I've had mixed feelings about which one will produce more fish/bigger fish. I fished a junior tournament not to long ago and this guy caught a toad on a chatterbait. I have not fished a chatterbait much at all, but if it will produce good fish then heck yeah I will fish it! I love a good spinnerbait bite and I was just wondering what you guy's would suggest? I fish lakes in the NC area I don't know if the structure has anything to do with all the vibration that chatterbaits produce so anything on these would be appreciated! Thanks everyone!

If you are looking for a rod that is very light and sensitive... A duckett can detect a minnow fart. and weights next to nothing. Love my ducketts!

But most of all leave ALL you other baits at home! haha I like that! I'll probably do that as well. Thanks for all the info! Hopefully i'll be catching hogs like you guys! So pumped for spring. And that video was SWEET!

So I've devoted my new year resolution to fish with jigs. I fish tournaments during Spring, Summer, and some in Fall. I always get beat... And the winners are always saying "Caught them on jigs." I'm over there shaking my head... haha so, I wanted to know some good techniques, from some good jig fisherman. Any info would be appreciated! -Josh

I have three ducketts, and I plan on getting more. I have a c-rig, crankin, and spinning. LOVE them all. I also have a Kistler helium, the duckett feels like a feather compaired to the Kistler. I love them both but the ducketts are my favorite. I am very happy with this product. 8-)

I'm headed down to my local fishing shop today, and i just bought a duckett rod. But no reel on the rod, so i was wanting to get one of the Lew's speed spool. $90. Just wanted to see if i could get any feed back on this reel. Thanks guys!

Ok, so this year i have set a goal to use lures that i usually don't like to use. Jigs.... I hate to fish slow but I know that you need this skill in some situations. I'm 14 and i'm hopping to be fishing some junior events in my area. I wanna catch some big bass this year and I know that a jig is a big bass bait.Thats whats going to motivate me while i'm fishing the jig. Now I have fished with it before and my biggest bass on it is about a 5lber. But i've only caught like 4 bass on them. When I caught that 5lber It felt so good because its always fun to catch them on something ur not as skilled in using. So do you guys have any good tips for using jigs? Any help will be appreciated!

Hey guy's, I have been searching for a nice shallow crank bait, but cant find on anywhere! One that isnt too big and only goes maybe 0-1ft. I usually fish cranks in my ponds and I broke my favorite crank a few weeks ago. and im trying to search for that that lure again. but untill i find that one i need on to hold me over for awhile. I dont want to make this sounds like im clueless to bass fishing cause im not ha. I'm just looking for some advice from the pros like you guys. Well, any help is appreciated. Thanks, -Josh

Ok, well my friend and I were fishing at a local pond and I he's not the best fisherman but he's alright. I let him use my FAVORITE crankbait (bad idea) and we had just started fishing and he was fishing on a drain and he does a side cast and "SMACK" i look at him and my thought "Oh lord, this isnt good." and it wasnt. My crankbait just broke. and this is the bait ive caught 500+ bass on it. including my first 10lber. I felt my heart sink to my feet. And the WORST part... They dont make the bait anymore. My last one.. :'( I know what ur thinkin' "what an idiot, letting him use ur favorite lure." I know... it was retarded. But anyway the crankbait was a Bandit footloose. They make footlooses but not near as much action and wobble. I have a few and just havent had as much luck. idk if anyone here has used an older footloose but if so you know what im talking about. and if anyone might have an idea where I could maybe get one cause im in need here...
