ok whats the deal with braid? if i put on 50ib test of braid will it be much better that the same diameter mono or flourocarbon? if braid is so awsome why dont many more people use it?

Simply put, it will be 5 times stronger with no stretch. Anyone that doesn't use all three types of line isn't taking advantage of the properties of each.

Each line has it 's advantages and disadvantages, it 's up to you to choose which one suits most of your needs better.

How do you know more people don't use it ?

The one turn-off with braid is how it looks like a ski-rope in clear water. Thats the only real disadvantage I see with it besides turning your hand green or black with the first couple uses.

And can you reword that diameter question? :-/
