Falcon Cara T7 Rods?

Featured Replies

How will the Falcon Cara T7 Rods stack up to say Shimano Crucial or St. Croix Avid or Premier Series.

All input wecome but looking for people that have or have used Falcon Cara T7 Rods. I know no one that has one.

The premier series Croix isn't in the same class as the others at all. The other three are comparable at that point I think it is personla preference and how much you want to spend. ;) I have had a cara and have a crucial and avid right now.  For the money I think the crucial is great.  You can find them on sale for around $120, But the cara is definitely a sweeeeet stick (just more money).

i have a falcon t7...6-6"  med heavy..i haven't used it too much yet,but since i have 5 other cara"s i'm sure i'll be very happy with it..i haven't used any of the other rods mentioned so i can't compare but i have been only buying falcon rods the last few yrs and am very happy with them.....

I fish both the Crucials and Cara's. They're both great rods at their price point but the new T7's seem to be just a bit more sensitive and lighter. Shimano's warranty can't be ignored though. Take a look at both, handle both if you can, and then make your decision. You can't really go wrong either way.
