Swimbait rod for Affordable price

Featured Replies

I need a swimbait rod this is capable of throwing mattlures ultimate bluegill.  The thing is i need to be able to fit it in my car so a 6'6" model would be prefered and i am having trouble finding one.  I also would like to stay under 150.  Are there any rods out there that can match my preferences.  I will be putting a revo stx and hope to pull in the monster with mattlures baby bass and bluegill.

I would recommend the Fenwick Elite but it isnt 6'6 its about 7'11. Good luck on a short swim bait rod.

If you're not going to throw anything heavier then a mattlures bluegill, just get a telescopic flipping stick.

I'd get a 7'6 flipping stick, it breaks down to 6ft which would fit in your car perfect.

6'6 rod for swimbaits wouldn't be the best anyway.

I use my Powell 765 for my Bluegill, and it works fine. My Powell doesn't telescope though.

I agree on getting a telescoping flipping rod.

I agree on getting a telescoping flipping rod.

BPS Extreme 7'6 H telescoping flipping stick.

You can get these on sale for $65 quite often.

That's what I got for the same types of baits and it works great.

Thanks all for the help.  I never thought of a telescopic flipping stick.  I ordered the 7'6" flipping stick from bps.  I have another extreme and really like it so im glad they had this style rod to in the extremes
