PowerPro

Featured Replies

I was wondering how well the powerpro works?

i have heard all good things about it but i am still not sure but i was wondering what everyone else thought..

Thanks

I used to use power pro exclusively, but after hearing on this forum all the good things about sufix, I tried it.  Now that is all I use I even traded all my power pro for sufix braid.  The stuff is awesome.

In what ways is Sufix superior to Power Pro?

Power Pro for me.

Braid is excellent and Power Pro sets the standard. I buy it in 1500 yard bulk spools and it's no more expensive than high quality copolymer lines. JMHO

I am all about the PowerPro.

I was bass fishing 2 weeks ago and had flipped a

jig into a brush pile. A 15 lb flathead catfish snatched

it up and had me all kinds of wrapped up in the tree

branches. I was able to get that fish out of the brush

and into the boat with no problem. I didn't even have

to retie my line. 20 yards down the bank I put my jig

in another brush pile and pulled out a 5 lb largemouth.

It is nice when your line is one thing that you never have

to worry about. I never worry about my PowerPro breaking

on me.

Power Pro and Sufix seem to be the two most popular braids on this forum. I have tried both, and Power Pro is unarguably softer and quieter than Sufix. However, opinions differ, and some swear by Sufix. I'll never use Sufix again as I much prefer Power Pro.

Either way you can't go wrong. Try them both out and see which one you like more.
