I noticed 2 new Fenwick models at Gander Mountain the other day. One was an Iron Hawk and the other a Golden something or other, sorry I can't remember the exact name.  I don't see anything about them on the Fenwick website.

Are these older models or something new.  I like Fenwicks and I was just curious if anyone knew anything about them.

They are probably made especially for Gander Mt.

if they were golden wings - those are old models.I have two of them I bought from bass pros many years back & Im still using them.Good rods.

Unless the names have been resurrected for Gander Mountain (which Pure Fishing has been known to do) those are older models. The Iron Hawk was the entry level rod and the Golden Wing was above the HMG. The Golden Wing and the Iron Feather were the top of the line before the Techna AV came out.

Golden Wing was the other name.  Seemed like nice rods. I will check closer on the price, see how it compares with the newer rods.  I do remember seeing the Iron Hawk as an IM6, which I guess puts it in an entry level class along with the Eagle.

the elite series fenwicks are nice. Just to let you know.
