    I wouldn't worry about the paint job either, I believe you would catch just as many without any paint. At least that is what I have found. I make my own jigs and don't notice a difference with or without paint. Although I like how they look with the paint, I don't think the fish care .haha

  3. i had a very small jon boat and all i did was cut a piece of strapping long enough to go to top of transom and to bottom of hull.mount the transducer to one end of it and use a vice to secure to top of transom.never had a problem with that set up.its actually how i have my sidescan set up on the bow of my jon boat now.just have to take on and off every time u use it but it only takes a second to do

  8. i use firetiger stick baits for largemouth in very clear water in the early spring and they out produce my natural colors at times

  10. just out of curiosity, have any of you guys in ma ever been checked on whether you are using lead jigs or not ?
  11. i use 1/4 oz alot when there is alot of grass on the bottom.it doesnt collect as much grass on it because it stays on top of it better than the heavier jigs do
  12. berkley 100 % flouro.never had a problem with it
  13. ive had same problem with some of the red eyes and bending the eye (tuning)does not work at all.
