Got a chance at an energy PT casting rod for $60 shipped on ebay.  Any experiences with this line on the board?  Something else in that price range I ought to be looking at?  Thanks

    Do a search, there was a similar thread not to long ago.

    But if it is the new Energy PT with split grip, then it is an excellant rod IMO. I have 2 of them and want more...I paid $100/piece for mine so $60 is a good deal. You will love it...

    thanks hawg, I looked again and found the post from before.  It is one of the split grip rods, I committed. now I gotta find a reel.

    why not get one of those tour editions from cabelas for 130 bucks?

    Just got my rod today and i must say i already like it... ALOt!! very comfortable int he hands...
