i picked up a St. Croix Premier 7ft med/hvy power/fast action 10-20lb 3/8-1oz baitcaster the other day for next to nothing.

what application would be best suited for this rod? I was think'n it would be good for jig/pig

    I have never used that rod but i would say MH/F would be sufficient for jigs.
