Fenwick HMX or Fenwick Eagle Gt's any good?

Featured Replies

I've got a GOOD discount on Fenwick rods when buying off their site, and would like to know something about these two rods.  I was personally thinking about the HMX but would like to know about them both, thanks.

I have one HMX that i bought for $50.  i like it.  i think it is a big step up from a lightning rod.  but i have other better rods that i use more of.

I have a few and I like them very much.  Light, sensitive and very tough.  My local tackle store seels them for $79.   Good rod at that price.

muddy? Anyone? ......

HE'S NOT HERE ANYMORE.

I own both the HMX and Eagle Gt rods. I think they are both great rods for the money. Fenwick has always made good rods and put quality in all the rods they make. But I just bought a Elite Tech and that is the best rod I ever used. Anyway, I recommend the Eagle Gt rod just because of the price.

I think I'm going with the HMX.  I can get them sent to me for $66 bucks off the Fenwick website.   ;D
