suffic line

Featured Replies

what line is better for a spinning outfit or does it not matter. elite versus supreme. saw both today and had no idea which won is better or why. any advice besides buying both and finding out the good ole hard way haha.  >:D ;D

Seige is supposedly tougher and stronger, while Elite is supposed to handle and cast better. I would use Elite for your spinning rig, it is great on mine.

I have 10#  Elite on my Stradic 4000 and it woks great.  No problems with wind knots, loops  etc.  Knots seem to be as strong as I could expect.  Very good line.

I can't comment on the supreme - I haven't used it.

i have the siege on my BC and a buddy has it on his spinning reel and he said it works AWSOME as does it on my bc... im slowly converting all my rods and reels over to the siege...

I put 12lb Seige on a spinning set-up.  Make sure you don't use a small reel, but it's the best mono I've ever used in terms of strength and abrasion resistance.  It casts really well too.
