I bought two Citica 200's during the rebate period, put together my rebates, scanned them for record, mailed them by USPS with delivery confirmation ONE DAY LATE....wahhhhhhhhWahdhh.

At least they are nice reels.

Send it in anyway.  Did that once with a $50.00 rebate for a cell phone. One day late. They sent the check anyway. All you're out is a stamp.

Call them, be nice, and see if you can sweet talk them into honoring the rebate.

I didn't mail them late expecting Shimano to honor them, I just messed up! I had a handfull of rebates including one for my Endura 50 and just missed the date.

I called to check the status and they said I would not get a check because they were postmarked a day late. I didn't even bother asking for forgiveness, the rules are clearly noted on the form.

They sure cast nice...just like my Cruxis

i mailed my abu garcia thing in for the free jacket a day late too...but i got my jacket 6-10 weeks later!!
