chanrocks93,

First your looking for a 2 piece rod for under $20, now your looking for a 2 piece rod under $30. You need to get out of your chair and get one of your parents to take you to Dicks or Wally World and actually look for one. Take your reel with you so you can try it on the rod and feel what it is like and whether or not it fits your hand and feels comfortable to you.

Anything that you get that has to be mailed/shipped to you will cost you at least half your budget just in the shipping alone.

Don't mean to sound to harsh but as a rod builder myself I have been following your post and you are getting nowhere I can see. I might also add the most important piece of equipment in a system is the rod.

Good luck in your search... ;)

You've been given excellent advice. The only rod that I would consider is the Berkeley Cherrywood rod. It hovers at about $20.00 and they have 2 piece casting and spinning models.
