All-Star Rod

Featured Replies

I've owned 3 different baitcast combos in my young days of fishing. My first ended up in the bottom of the lake and my third ended up snapped. I managed to keep my second one in tact and above water, at least so far. After breaking my latest rod, I decided no more cheap rods. I purchased an All-Star and man was it worth it. I can absolutely tell the difference. I swear just yesterday I felt a fish sneeze on the other end of the lake I was fishing. It was really unreal the difference it made..

It's a world of difference huh? Glad to hear your happy  .

All Star rocks.

I own 4 all stars and I love them very much.

All of the rods that I use are All Star rods. They are

excellent rods. All Star may not be the most expensive

rods on the market, but that doesn't mean that they

are not awesome.

My favorite All Star rod is the 6'10" Pitching Rod. That thing

is just perfect for me.

I just got an IM10 and love it!

My favorite baitcasting rod is an All Star. I was surprised at the quality of the rod considering the relatively low cost.

Took everyone's advice and picked up a Team All Star TAD827C, 6' 10" heavy with fast action rod yesterday at Green Top.

I was seeking a 7 foot medium heavy but I really liked the heavy rod with the beautiful guides.  It is light and it just feels right in your hand.

Put my new Foolger President 6:3:1 with a base of fluoro with 50 pound Spiderwire braid and went outside to balance and cast the rig using a white SPRO Bronzeye frog as the bait.

Man, on the first cast I must have put it out 40 yards.

What a smooth casting rod and reel combo.

Will put it to use on the Chickahominy River's pads and grass later this month and also at a friend's pond this Friday.

First All Star rod and I may be a fan for life.

Thanks for the advice, guys.  ;)

That's the one with gold guide eyes?   If so, sweet rod.
