SPRO RATTLETRAPS

Featured Replies

Few weeks ago I picked up a couple of Spro rattletraps or lipless cranks, whatever youd like to call them. Anyways, tied one on this morning for the first time, 1/2 ounce size in Magic tiger was the one I was throwing. Its really a good quality bait and fished good and then of course there was the fact that I killed them on a grass flat throwing this bait this morning. :).

The Aruku Shad - excellent vibes!    They also stand up on their nose if you drop them to the bottom.

Do they have a wider wobble than the Rat-L-Trap?

Slightly wider, but not noticeable. My best ones don't have paint on them any more. I have started rubbing the paint dull on the new ones with steel wool because of it.

This is so crazy,

I have an aruku shad that just keeps getting better with age (kinda like me)

It never occured to me that the duller, more worn finish could be the reason.
