i was wondering how suffix neon fire braid and power pro red did in shallow water?(less than 2ft)thanks.

pp red works fine shallow or deep.

I don't use either one, but I do use Stren Super Braid in the gold color. I don't change lines due to depth. Works well for top water too.

Unless you are fishing gin clear water , it's ok.

And if you're uncomfortable fishing braid in gin-clear water, use a flourocarbon leader (with a uni to uni knot).
