50 lb power pro or suffix performance braid.  Might sound like overkill but it has the same diameter of 14-16lb mono.  The trouble is if you get hung up really bad you might have a tough time breaking the line.

    Its just the opposite the heavy line will shorten your cast

    get a spool of 50 lb 300 yards.it should fill 3 baitcasters.it's 12 lb diameter which is perfect.
