Gander Mtn. Elite Series

Featured Replies

hey all, i just picked a few of these up at my local Gander Mtn. replaced my Ugly Stick spinning rod and went ahead and got the 7' worm and jig medium heavy casting rod for my new accurist 570 pt (not sure if it's the best match up though, i'm considering putting the 570 on my BPS Extreme and the Qualifier on my new Elite)

Just wanted to say that they're a great rod for the price (on clearance for $40 up here) so if you're looking for a new rod but dont want to drop a ton of money you may want to give them a shot. I'm pretty pleased with them

Last year I paid $60 for one of their 6'6" MH spinning and I like it fine. At first I didn't like the exposed reel seat, but now I've gotten used to it and it feels OK.

I bought one a little while ago, and it's a good rod for the price.

I had a few of there rods. They run specials where you can buy one get the second one half off.I used them and was not to impressed but they are decent rods.Best ones i have found for the price is when i took the Gander Mtn Elite Series back and went to BPS to buy the BPS Tourney Specials. The rods are 49.00.That extra 10 bucks is well worth it but also i like the handle how its all corkseat where the Elite Series has alot of plastic. When you hold the Tourney Special you dont feel any plastic...
