Daiwa Megaforce Plus Casting Reels, are they any good, or should I the Daiwa Exceler Casting Reels?

i've had the megaforce (the regular one) and still have an exceler. the exceler is much nicer. the twitchin' bar seems like a good idea at first but found myself never using it. unfortunately, it makes the megaforce harder to palm and adds over an ounce in weight. the megaforce feels smooth when you're just spinning the handle with no line on but, once spooled, it feels rough.

I have to agree with everything rod_long said, and will add that my Megaforce had drag problems. I had to readjust it after every cast. The twitching bar seems like a neat idea, but is pretty much useless in the weed-filled lakes where I typically fish. I think I used mine less than a half-dozen times before I sold it.

I returned mine after a month or so due to the drag slipping and problems with the spool engaging.

I've had my Megaforce (Regular One.) Reel for about six months now and it sounds like the gears are grinding severly. I'll probally get alot of crap for this, but I have a couple of Quantum Accurist II's and they're a pretty good reel for the price. Not as good as my citica, but not bad especially if you can find them on sale.
