Hi

I was thinking of buying a daiwa certate spinning reel but i really

hate the handle, I was wondering if the handle from a daiwa tierra would fit and if i would have to do any modifications to the reel or handle to make it work or would it just screw right on ?

The tierra handle slides through the drive gear then a screw threads into the handle from the opposite side which is different from the certate. The certate handle threads directly onto the gear instead of through it. There is a custom machined handle from Daiwa IZE that will fit the certate. Hope this helps.
