Anybody familiar with Field & Stream rods (from Dicks)?

I bought a 6.5' IM7 medium light spinning rod from Dicks on sale for $39 (normally $49. OK, I paid $29 with a $10 off coupon  :)). I don't like the reel seat (I've had the bottom plastic foot break on some other similar Fuji reel seats) but the price was pretty good. For now I'm gonna troll plugs for crappie with it.

Anybody know who makes em? Any chance it is a rebranding of another good brand? I doubt it since 'Field & Strem' isn't something I think of as high end gear...
