BPS hold carrot stick now..

Featured Replies

i went to my local bass pro shop the other night and saw that they finally hae carrot sticks. so now im really thinking about getting one. Which one would be better for jigs? the 7'3'' MH or the 7'XH. Also for those of you who  have used carrot sticks and powell or dobyns rods, are they better than carrot sticks?

LakeAnnaBasser,

Don't worry about it.

Unless you fish the hot side you are only going to catch one fish on One Fish Anna no matter what type of rod you are using.  ;D   ;D   ;D

i just laugh when people call it that because the majority of the people who call it that go about fishing it the same way. you cant just go out and pound the banks the whole day and expect to do much. sometimes it works but not alot.

Yikes!

LakeAnnaBasser, do you mean I have to fish the cemeteries, humps, docks, roadbeds, creek and river intersections, rocks, islands, etc. and not just beat the banks?

I'll give it a try next year.  ;D   ;D   ;D

For now I will fish the hot side and see what happens.

Actually, fishing One Fish Anna with a Carolina Rig or a deep diving crankbait can do wonders for your soul.  But I love to fish the backs of the creeks and grass and weeds in the summer.

Thanks for the feedback. I may be calling on you next year for some One Fish Anna tips.  :)
