I have a problem with my baitcast reel and am wondering if anyone could give me pointers.  The reel handle turns fine but my spool wont move......any ideas?  Thanks!

You might want to try tightening your drag. It might be set too loose.

Island Bass is right, again.

Tighten your spool and drag.

If the spool still will not turn, then the reel is broken.

Send it to the Reel Mechanic, or take it to local tackle store and see if they know anyone who fixes reels, and have it repaired.

I had this happen to me last month and it seems I broke a gear in it. Easy and cheap fix.

yeah its cashed...thanks for the info.  ive had two of these johnny morris' now and between the handles getting bent and this i think im done with bps reels.
