Telll me what you think about this setup.

I'm thinking about buying a swimbait rod, and i was thinking about getting one of bassproshops extreme rod and reelcombo, 7'6 H action with a 7.1:1 gear ratio. Sound good?  I dont plan on using huge 9 inch swimbaits, mainly around 5 inches.

Also i was wondering what are some good swimbaits.

i throw my 6 + 7" baits on the extreme 7'10 H 1-3oz ... handles them fine, although there are better rods out there for this.  I don't know how long the extreme reel will hold up chucking those baits though as it is not really suited to throw baits over an oz IMO.  if you are set on BPS what about the NITRO combo?

I have the 7'6 mh and h extreme rods. The heavy is a real beef stick, very little tip. I like the mh alot. It has a very nice tip but alot of backbone, I can throw mattlures soft bluegill on the mh no problem. The reels are great to I own a few and IMHO you can't beat them for the money.

wat does IMHO mean?

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION.

7.1:1 seems a little fast for me. A 6.1:1 would be better.
