  1. I'm a big fan of the BTS theory... Buy it, try it, if it don't work then sell it. That way you find your confidence baits and only keep what you need Problem with that, is now 90% of my hard baits are $17 or more ;D :-[

Deps Buzzjet, any 316, ms slammer
  3. nice fish nick! the confidence is building
  4. I guess it depends on your definition of swimbait as well as the gear you're using to throw it. If you have a rod that can handle 3+oz then you are probably looking for a bigger bait, which more often than not will cost you more money. If you are going to be throwing these on say a flippin stick, you could get a mattlures soft bait for around $20 give or take, a 6" hudd, or an MS mini for close to $20. If you are going lower than that, you are looking at paddletubes like money minnows and the like for short money, or any of the 4" hardbaits like spro, tru tungsten and all that for $20. Hope this helps. If you are going for a bigger bait I have some up in the classifieds!
  5. Do you swim it weightless? I work it like a jerkbait
  6. love this bait early season and for smallies. I rig it weightless with a 4/0 offset hook. blue back
  7. Val from gambler lures sent me some to try before these baits hit stores last year. I have to say that the 4" baits are a deadly finesse bait. They sit great on standup shaky heads and the tail just quivers. I loved them for smallies and clearwater situations.
  8. they usually stock up just before the classic, so thats feb right? they were loaded up last feb with new gear for the "TD super sale" ... I mean "Classic Sale" Hey Tin, Paul told me you might change your mind about slammers

The web guy for Swimbaitsinc went on vacation to El Salto and forgot to activate the site. It is done, just not activated. It will be online sometime next week. Anyone who wants to see some of his work/baits just PM me and I will point you in the right direction
  10. all the new 4" baits from spro, TT, and castaic can be thrown on the gear you have
  11. I believe uconn and ohio have teams, beyond that i dont know
  12. I feel like there are better ways to spend the cash... honestly the line gets caught behind the head of the bait consistently and it has a pretty mechanical action. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION it is a waste of money. For the same money buy a Sebile.
  13. i throw my 6 + 7" baits on the extreme 7'10 H 1-3oz ... handles them fine, although there are better rods out there for this. I don't know how long the extreme reel will hold up chucking those baits though as it is not really suited to throw baits over an oz IMO. if you are set on BPS what about the NITRO combo?
