Does anyone know of any colleges that offer fishing as a sport here in the northeast?

I believe uconn and ohio have teams, beyond that i dont know

I'm not sure how northeast ou are looking. But, should you just mean areas that are included in this forum most of the Big Ten schools all have teams. I know Western Michigan has a team aswell. There are alot of others with new ones poping up all the time. Plus, you can always start one. Just go to some of the websites for the places that have the tournaments and you can see who has them.

I was surprised to see Wayne State has a team.

Maltese, not sure if he still does or not still but he was working on starting their club. Obviously that is back  2 or 3 years now. When I was in D and R his dad and I were talking about it one time.

The University of Delaware has a team

I no alot of schools have clubs, but not sure which ones have actual teams

I noticed a photo of one of the University of Tennessee boats fishing in a tournament in one of my magazines.

I sincerely hope the UT boys do better than the UT football team.  ;D   ;D   ;D

If your school does not have a bass team, then start one.
