I just bought a G-Loomis 803 jig-and-pig rod, through an employee discount program, and i was wondering what kind of reel to put on it, i have a daiwa procaster on my other rod, and i like that , but i kinda wanted a different reel for this rod.

ake a rbber band, and ct it so you have about 1 inch of it, then just tie it on the line, and it can slide up and down the line, but only with pressure. meaning it wont slide when your working it, just if you want to readjust it.

try using 30lb fireline, its like a razor through grass

my dad is an expert at fly trying, and i will give him jig heads so i can have hair jigs, and he uses a dark greenish deerhaor for a crawfish, they are dynamite in the rivers here. paired with a yum chunk. mmm mmmmm
