Finding "hard" to find lures

Featured Replies

Does anyone else find lures when they're done for the year that they can't find during?

Found my most favorite popper ever bought in the bottom of one of my tackle bags after many attempts at searching.  You can be sure I feel like an idiot when I found it.

Do you mean in the stores? I was at BPS today and I had a handful of topwaters...but then I was thinking, I don't need these now, the hard water's almost here!  :-/ Now when spring rolls around and I can't find these lures I'll be bummed.... :)

I'm trying to control my compulsive tackle buying urges  ;D :)

$30 ain't bad

My wife picked up Ugly Ducklings a while back, now they don't sell them anymore in the US so I had to set up a dealer account from them in Canada.  I had more fishing luck with these lures then with everything else combined, including my personnel best of 10lbs

I had searched local tackle shops, dick's, BPS, online BPS...for something not that out of the ordinary.

A husky jerk 12 glass ghost.  Nothing crazy.  Not outlandish.  Just nowhere to be found until today.

As it gets colder I start to clean and reorganize my tackle and yes I always find those lures I ment to use that I couldn't find during the season. :)

And then there's the winter drawdown. I find alot of "hard to find" lures in trees and rocks that were under the water during the year.  :)

I need help finding the Strike King series 5 crankbaits in the sexy shad color. I have been backordered by BPS, Dicks, Tackle Whlse and cannot seem to find them. Any ideas would be a big help. The Strike King color code is 590 and BPS is 90 if that helps.
