How about a Zillion rod ?

I just took mine out for the first time on Christmas day and I'm in love with it......great look too.

x2 it seems only fitting. 8-) congrats

I x3 the Zillion rod, I have both the Zillion rod(bought the 6'9" MH) & reel now...a pefect match! Next choice would be the new Kistler Argon or something cheaper the St Croix Mojo.

The Zillion rods are sweet.

I want a rod to handle heavier hard wakebaits, hard swimbaits and big jerkbaits. Things with big trebles.

I'm partial to cork, and Fenwicks. So I'm thinking I may order a Techna AV 7'6" or 8" MH/M.

If you're going to spend the money, go with an extra $60-70 and get the Helium LTA.

Why not pair it to a New 09" Fenwick Elite Tech Bass rod? That would be a sweet setup.

Welcome to the evil world of Daiwa.  It's all down hill from here.

I haven't ruled that out. I put it on my 7'3" Elite Tech Crankshaft rod and it feels great and looks great, too. The rod is rated from 3/8 oz to 1oz. I wanted something rated a wee bit heavier.

I thought I read in Bassmaster that Fenwick is coming out with an elite 7'1" heavy rod that is capable of throwing small swimbaits. Might want to check it out.

Like their 7'9" swimbait rod rated for lures 1-3oz, it will probably be  too fast for baits with trebles.   I want something slower for jerkbaits and hard swim/wake baits.  The Crankshaft rod would be perfect.  I just wish it were rated for heavier lures.
