Pitchin'/Flippin' Rod

Featured Replies

I want to get a rod to use for flipping and pitching and it needs to be  < $100. What are my best options  ?

If it has to be under $100 I would look at the new St. Croix Mojo Bass MBC76MHMF, as I have one in the Legend Tournament and it is a great rod for light flipping and a great pitchin' rod.  I also will use it as a back up frog rod if paired with braid.

Also if you want to be way under 100, you may want to check out All Star Select or Instinct. They sell between 50 and 60 bucks, yet are very well built rods.

Team All Star Big Boy TAS867BB.  7'2" Mhvy.  A very stout rod.
