Cajun Line?

Was wanting to get some input from anyone who has tried the Cajun products and what yalls thoughts were about it.

Can't say I have had any real experience with it.  Ran Cajun Advantage on a couple of baitcasters for a while last summer and liked it.  It did what I wanted it to do, which was basically casting the shoreline with spinner baits.  Never lit into anything seriously big with it to actually rate it on a scale, but it did serve well.  Was actually thinking of re spooling a couple baitcasters with it this spring and working with it some more.  I can say that for the people on here that have made mention of it, none that I am aware of had any real negatives.

Tried it a few years ago on some microlites for crappie fishing and it was horrible. Had a lot of memory, wrapped around the rod tip when casting 1/16oz jigs. Maybe they are doing better now.

With so many quality lines on the market, why even bother?

I like to use it as backing under my green PowerPro. That way it's obvious when I'm getting low and need to respool.

Why not?

it's on one reel right now and have used it for roughly two season. I think it a good mono. Ive definitely used worse but I cant say it excels over the rest, Just seems to be a good mono in a weird color.

Cajun red is on all four of my sons reels and weve never had any memory or breakin issues.
