I know that there are better rods out there! But I see BPS has them on sale for $ 59. Just want to know if they are worth it to pick one up? I have a old Browing Trigger rod and I want to replace it. What does this KVD rod compare to?

The old Browning is a Syntec if you know about this rod. It is pretty old!

Why not?

KVD is hawking the new rod series at his seminars and if they have his name on them then they have to be good.

You can go with a more expensive rod, be it fiberglass or graphite, if you wish.

But for $59 you can't go wrong.  

I bet this is his older series. Not the new red ones that he is speaking so highly of.

I just got mine in, they are very comparable to the Tour PT, they have 54million modulus, fuji ecs seats, and fuji hardloy eyes.  These are the older series and not the new ones, but for 59 bucks you are getting the same rod that cost triple that a couple years ago.  Great deal go ahead and pull the trigger.

I have two of them. I like them alot. For $59.00, they are a great value.

I have a 7 foot cranking stick from the older series and its a solid rod the reel is ok. I would say go for it for 59 dollors.

Would you rate this rod better than thr BPS Extreme?

I think I have it down to 3 rods. The KVD series rod, the Extreme,anf the Mojo rod. I am going to take a hard look at the Mojo next week at BPS.  :
