OK when using the outside braking on the reels how do you correctly set them???

what do you do to set up your reel with the spool tension and brake setting???

    The "correct" way is the way in which you can control the spool, the 101 defines the general lines in which a baitcaster is set " correctly" but those vary between individulas and their level of skill in controlling the beast with different lure weights, line diameter and casting conditions.

    All reels are different, some are more touchy than others, it 's up to you to learn how to adjust your reels.
