flurocarbin line

Featured Replies

I like to use Seguar but its becoming un-afordable. I have looked at others (trilene, yozuri, stren ect..) These seem to be more afordable to me. Does any one have experiance with these or another brand.

I had to cut back on line purchases last year. I have used Trilene and it's great, but BPS Fluorocarbon is just as good and a little less on the wallet.

Bass Pro Shops XPS is very good line and goes on sale every year about this time.  I have used it for yours and would recommend it.

the bps flurocarbin is what i was thinking about trying, how is it for abrasion resistance? how does it throw with a spinning reel?

Based on reviews of people I know have used it, plus based on the reviews on BPS site, and Cabelas site, I'm going to try P-Line Flourocarbon. It gets consistently better reviews than everything else out there.

The XPS is probably about as abrasion resistent as the others.  I use 8lb test on my spinning reels and it works fine.  Spray some KVD line or Real Magic on the line regularly and it works even better.

Spiderwire 100% is the best ive used yet.  Its well worth the 20 bucks imo
