Seaguar Red Label

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried this line yet?  It is pretty cheap for fluorocarbon.  Just checking for some input before I try it.

Thanks, :(

I'd also like to know.

There has got to be an explanation behind it's low price.

I bought some 12lb at BPS during the spring classic. I wanted to get their XPS fluoro but they were basically sold out of everything so I went with the red label. I used it during a tournament this past weekend and it handled fine. I landed a 5lb smallie with it so overall I'm pretty happy so far but I'm going to reserve final judgement until I've used it more.

I decided to try some out.  I figured for $12 it couldn't hurt.  So I got some 8lbs line and spooled up my new spinning reel and headed out.  It casts like a dream very sensitive and had no problems with line twists or any knot issues.

Will try it out some more this week and see how it holds up over time.  I also treated it with KVD L&L of course.

Later, :(
