I have not really heard much about Okuma when it comes to rods, have they really not released anything until recently? or have the rods always just not been impressive to anglers? I look at this C3 and it looks so shiny, do you think it works as good as it looks? It would be nice to try it out, but when I was at BPS I did not see the C3 there.

So if anyone has used this rod, how was it compared to similar priced rods?

If you have not used this exact rod but have used Okuma rods, are they a decent rod maker?

I haven't personally used it but I know some guys on a thread a month or two ago said it was a pretty heavy rod, try doing a search

i held a few at a show a while back, and to me they felt quite nice. sure they weren't super light like some truly upscale rods, but their weight wasn't strikingly absurd.

i also asked one of the reps where the C3s would be carried, and to my dismay BPS won't stock these rods due to close quality/price specs to their own brand.
