Featured Replies

Ok im going to switch over to carrots, i fished with one and man that thing was awesome!!!!

I want to purchase a few of these things and i want them for:

spinnerbaits 1/4-1oz.'ers   6'9" mh

cranks 1/4-1/2 oz.             7'2"m parabolic

t-rigs                                7'0" MH

pitchin plastics/ jigs           7'3" mh

shakey heads/wacky wormin/drop shot'n   (NOT SURE???) what rod??

I also thought I could buy a 7'6" heavy for plippin/pitchin and also use it for carolina rigs when i needed to..???? would this be okay, I guess I could use this rod for swimbaits and frogs too HUH?? would that work too??

tell me what action to get and if the ones i have already choosen would be right for the job!!!!

thanks

Looks like you've got it down to me. I have the 6'9" MH for everything but trebles, and the 6'9" Parabolic for trebles.

Looks like you got it down pretty good but I would go with a 8'xh over the 7'6 then you would have a great flipping and pitching rod a great larger swim bait rod and a AWESOME frog rod for super thick matts. I would get the 7'6 if I was you and could get it and the 8 footer too to me the 8 footer would let me use it for more baits and be there when you are fishing REALLY nasty stuff. that that thing handles 5oz swim baits like a champ even a 7oz swimbait not no more then that tho its rated for up to 5 ozs but will handle 6-7 well.... and still have a great tip to let you pitch with total control..

the only other one i would get for your d-shot, shakies, etc... 7ft med/fast. i believe its the 701. i love mine for shakin and light plastics. light cranks too.
