I'm getting a garmin etrex lengend cx for Christmas.  I was looking and the maps that are available and found the inland lakes cd and the card for inland lakes for the southcentral region (I live in Oklahoma).  How do you know what lakes are on the maps?  Does it show every lake with contour lines or just a select few?  If I can't find out what lakes are on the maps then I may take it back for a lowrance ifinder h20 becasue the navionics website and lowrance website tells you what lakes are on their software.  Are there other software maps that work in the garmin?  If so then can you look up what lakes are on there?  

I use the Legend Cx. I also have the US Inland Lakes program. But I don't have it here at work. I do know that there are a bunch of detailed maps on there from the northern states but I can't tell you what ones. If you shoot me a PM on Monday I will be able to get you a list.

I think Garmin is dumb for not supplying a list of the exact lakes covered. I have never looked at the new Lawrance units. If they take Navionics I would get one.
