Spinning seats

Does anyone make a truly great seat for a spinning rod?  I've yet to try a spinning rod that features a comfortable reel seat.  The Crucial drop-shot seat isn't all that bad, probably the best I've tried thus far.

Thought I would like the Carrot Stix seat, but it just doesn't feel all that good.  Tried the Cumara, didn't care for it either.

Why is it that casting rod seats have progressed over the years, but the spinning seats are all teh suck.

Burley,

Have you considered Tennessee spinning grips and rings? Or even a split spinning seat with cork inserts?

I hate cork and I hate the seat threads even more.  Would be nice if Shimano would have taken the Cumara casting seat and flipped it upside down for the spinning seat.

The Carrot Stix shows promise, but the handle is too thick right at the seat.

It's a good thing I rarely fish a spinning rig.
