I got a Clarus  CSC-70H and Abu Garcia SX HS, I put on 50 lb Power Pro braid. This is my first Bait caster and I was super excited to give it a try, after 15 minutes I could throw a frog 70 feet, I had a few birds nest but nothing to bad. The BC seems much more efficient than a spinning outfit. I cant wait to get it out on the Delta or local rivers and catch some fish!!

Cool beans 8-)  I'm guessing that before long, you'll have a whole arsenal of baitcasters.  Stay after it, because as you go,  your gonna find that there is different set ups out there more specific to the different types of fishing you will do.
