BPS Extreme Rod for Swimbaits

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am looking at getting more into swimbaits, but living in the New England I am not sure how much or how long I will be "into" this technique.  I will be throwing 5-8" swimbaits.  I was thinking about picking up a BPS extreme in the 7'6" to 7'10" H  range because they are on sale.  Any recommendations?  Good for the $$ ?  I know some people like the Okuma rods but they are about double the price.  Thanks

watch some of LBH's newer videos

My bro has the 7' 10" H model and it is pretty decent for the $. It is a very stout rod that could double as a frog rod or flippin stick. Not sure how much you will be using those techniques though.
