I have a Quantum Energy PT and an Abu Garcia Black Max. I have #17 XPS Flouro on the energy for jigs and worms and finesse fishing, and #30 braid on the balck max for all my lure casting, cranks, jerks, spinnerbaits, etc.

Is the fouro line too heavy for those couple applications?

Should i use flouro on my other reel too?

    17# pound florocarbon is just about right for the jigs and worms but you defintily need to reduce the poundage for finesse fishing.  

    I would use about 14# flourocarbon for crankbaits, jerkbaits, and spinnerbaits.

Personally I like 14 for jigging and such and 10 for jerkbaits but if youre fishing heavier cover than me, you should be fine.
