The reel poll got me wondering.

I have reel/rod combos which would mean I own equal # of rods and reels.

Do you all have more reels than rods?  or vice versa?  Interchanging reels with rods to tune to a specific application?

i have 11 spinning rods but i only take maybe 4 with me when i go fishing. i choose which rods depending on where im going and what lures i plan to use. therefore i only own 5 spinning reels. all four of my baitcasters have reels on them.

I have more reels because I will upgrade reels more than I will upgrade rods.

I have more spinning rods than I have reels. I changed out some rods for better matched combos with some of my reels and that kinda created the extra rods. Then I picked up the new Berkley Amp to try and that put a Cabelas XML in the corner.

I guess I need to pick up a reel or two to go with those other XML's

I've got about three times as many rods as reels.
