First of all I really like this combination but I find I have to re-apply almost weekly or suffer significant line memory.  I tried applying thoroughly to the last 100 ft and it still seemed to wear off.  Is this normal?  The KVD stuff really does a good job on the line but I don't like re-applying so often.

They say to spray it the night before a trip.  Spraying the line just before you fish won't do you much good.

I try to always reapply the night before a trip.  It also helps to apply it to the line when you are first spooling it up as well and this does make a difference.

Since I switched to yozuri hybrid ultra soft. I haven't needed to use KVD line conditioner..

I notice line memory mostly when fishing light plastics and senkos where I need to keep a close eye on the line.  Other techniques I agree it's fine without it.
