would this make a good crankbait rod,, it has a fast tip 6'6" long ,light

most folks tell me you need amoderate action for cranks but this is considered a treble hook rod i believe ? anyone have this rod ?

Which model?  Team All Star (TAS), Instinct?  The TAS is a light action, and the Instinct is a medium light action.  Either way, it should do fine with light cranks.  I wouldn't use it for heavier cranks.   Stay in the recommended lure weight range.  

its light and its the team all star im10 freshwater series ,,,,,is figuring 1/4 oz 3/16 oz crankbaits seems i throw tons of these for some reason !

That's a nice, handy rod.  It will do fine with cranks in that weight range.  

That's technically the old Zell Rowland topwater special rod.

I've got 2 of those, one in an old Titanium series and another platinum that I use for jerk bait fishing.

my wuestion is answered then most topwater lures are treble hook lures so this would be perfect wouldnt it ?
