Super Silver Thread Reviews

Featured Replies

Just wondering what you guys thought of this Copolymer line. I bought two spools of 8 and 10# at the Cabela's sidewalk sale for $2 and change today. I have really taken a liking to Yo Zuri line this season, but for $2 I figured it was worth a shot. I could always throw it to a friend if I had too.

Its not bad, but it is not Yo-Zuri that is for sure.  I have one rod spooled up with it and I can't really complain about it too much other then it has a little bit more memory retention then the yo_zuri.

Later, :)

the Silver thread "Excalibur" version is more like Yo Zuri Ultra soft if you ask me

I think its great line! I really like their AN40 but its all good stuff.. I have used SST for many years and always like it the only bad thing about it is the stuff is stretchy as a rubber band lol

As long as it has good strength. That is what is important to me. I spray Blakemores reel magic on my line while spooling and it wipes out line memory.
