The Prodigy spinning reel is on sale right now & the 500ALBi is $10 more.  I'm looking to buying either one just wanted to get some feed back on both or either of these spinning reels.

The Bass Pro Shops somewhat close to me now has the 500ALBi & it is a very nice reel, I couldn't tell the difference from that to the Soron.

So if you had to purchase either of these 2 spinning reels, which one would you get?  I'm not interested in Shimano, I already have Symetres & Saharas.

I'd go with the Prodigy.  It has a nicer drag adjustment and just feels better overall.   I have a 500 ALB.  It's a nice reel, and very tough.  But it is not very refined.  

Thanks Micro.  I ended up getting the Prodigy 2000 spinning reel.  I looked at the 500ALBi & it was a very nice reel but the 502ALBI was just a bit "big" for what I wanted & too much line capacity.  

The Prodigy 2000 is the right size I was looking for w/ the line capacity, also it's very smooth.  I was able to get the reel for $50 so that's a much better deal!
