I was wondering if anyone has tried the new Pflueger President XL reels and how they like them. They seem to be a very nice reel for the money.

I assume you are referring to the Maxx XT, maroon is color?

save your money and in 2 months grab the new pflueger patriarch xt ($250)....damnnn good looking reel and at 6.8oz. eva paddles and carbon fiber handle...woooweee,imagine if they come out with that thing in MG later down the road,that thing will be super featherlite.
