I couldn't afford one TBH, but I found a guy here locally that sold me his for $100.  It broke like 2 weeks into the season, and I've only recently been able to repair it.  Figured a new reel was in order since the replacement is brand new off the mfg line this week.

Paid $195 for one of my Loomis GLX, brand new on eBay.

congrats. And def check ebay for loomis rods brand new like steezy said. Also you know you can buy reels there brand new also for usually about 20 percent less then anyone else . I just bought my Daiwa Tierra3000 spiining reel for 105 shipped and basspro sells it for 125 plus shipping or tax. I went and returned a few things to dicks sporting goods and bass pro shops once I realized I could find mid level-high end stuff for the same price as entry level stuff they sell at sports authority and dicks.

I saved 110.00 on my new BCR803 GLX from a member here that had an extra on hand.

Also, there are some FANTASTIC deals on the Flea Market here. I had a gun sale go south yesterday or I would have been 131 hardbaits for the better for a lot less than new >
