Which of these rods would be best for fishing weighted and unweighted soft plastics as well as light to medium sized jigs (primarily in the 1/4 - 1/2 oz range). Opinions from those who have had the pleasure of using both rods would be greatly appreciated, but all opinions are welcome. How do the actions and sensitivity compare between the two rods? Thanks all.

I have had used both and my wife currently owns the LE (Which I used today LOL) If you were just fishing weightless plastics I would say the LE, but if you are fishing half ounce jigs, I would say you would need the GLX to get that hook set.  The LE has a softer tip.

I agree. I own the 68MXF in spinnging, and it's great for weightless plastics, but I don't think I would want to use it for jigs.

what about the 802?would that be closer to the LE?
